data gathering

This is our first task for data gathering, where we were ask to record the energy consumption in our homes for a week. Then from the information that we collect to produce a system, where other consumers can apply their own data easily.

In my chart (on the left) I recorded the gas and electricity consumption in my home straight from the meter reading, in cubic meters for gas and kW/h for electricity.

The system that we have produced is based on how many hours per day you using gas and electricity in every room.

The chart is made using nails,threads, symbols, numbers and written language.

The pictures above show how my classmates are transfering their gas and electricity data to the schema that we made.

The sketches here are to show the work in progress and how did we come to the last complete version of our data gathering schema.
